We offer a professional bespoke garden design and landscape design service, for private and commercial clients. Hockley Landscapes will take your space and create amazing designs for you, adhering to your brief, whatever the size of garden, or budget you have in mind. Incorporating any use or elements into the design, the only limitations are your imagination.
The garden design process
The process starts with you. Get in touch with us, tell us about your garden and your ideas for your garden design, even send us some photographs of it or of what you would like to achieve. We can find out what your perfect garden is from an initial chat, and what budget you have in mind.
Initial garden design consultation
After our initial chat we’ll come and visit you, conduct an in-depth survey of your garden, take measurements and ascertain levels and slopes. We will discuss what you want to get from your garden, what you want to use it for. Then discuss what materials you had in mind, any hard landscaping to be included, if you would like any water features and then what planting schemes would suit your ideas, formulating a brief with you.
This costs £95.00 and can take around 2 hours and is much more in-depth than ‘free’ consultations others offer.
Garden design concepts
We’ll then draft you an initial concept drawing of your garden design, along with a rough quote. Don’t worry if you want to make changes, we aren’t prima-donnas like some designers and want you to get your perfect garden.
If you’re happy with our concept, then we will create and agree detailed drawings of the design, create an accurate materials list, finalise quotes, provide a schedule of events and agree a suitable start date with you.
What makes us different
Our difference is that we love the personal touch. We like to get to know our clients, we want you to be happy with your garden design. We can even provide your garden the care it needs after we have finished it.
Drop us an email today, or call us for a no obligation chat. Let’s talk about your garden design and what you want to achieve.
